Responsibilities

  • The bowling Pro- Shop will assist with the day-to-day operation of the Pro Shop.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Pro-Shop equipment under the direction of the Manager.
  • Opening and closing procedures. Restocking Pro Shop daily
  • Assist Supervisor with the inventory. Keep Pro Shop clean and clothes folded. Assist in marketing the merchandise.
  • Prepare shop displays. Assist with special events and tournaments. This position is not limited to those duties listed in the job description.
  • Duties and responsibilities can be changed expanded reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company work environment team members working the Casino or Bowling Center.
  • Maintains and replenishes correct parts inventory by recording machine repairs and parts used
  • Follows established Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Maintains a clean work area and a safe working environment.
  • Responds to customer complaints of machine malfunction and analyzes the mechanism to find the root of the problem.
  • Trains Mechanics to adhere to the Machine Area Safety Procedures and Standards of Operation.
  • Responsible for Pro-Shop operations and team members
  • Follows and ensures that Policies and Procedures of the Bowling property and Casino Operation are followed.
  • Ensures compliance with Tribal State Federal regulations.
  • Ensure control/protection of company assets.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and professional manner.
  • Works well with others and takes feedback well.
  • Must be able to work and concentrate in a loud and chaotic environment.
  • Works with techs to create and maintain a daily/weekly and annual preventative maintenance calendar.
  • Open availability including weekend nights and holidays as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional guest service skills are required
  • Combination of education and 4-6 years of experience working in a Pro-Shop in the bowling industry and 3-5 years customer service-oriented environment
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in pro-shop of bowling center
  • Ability to maintain professional courteous and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts
  • Proven intermediate skills in Windows MS Office Programs (Word PowerPoint Excel) and experience with database systems. Ability to prepare reports correspondence charts forms and other information and instructions
  • Knowledgeable in bowling operations 5-6 year of experience required
  • Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving organizational and time management skills
  • Working knowledge and understanding of MSDS OSHA requirements and biohazard clean up and disposal
  • Must be 18 years of age or older


Certificates Licenses Regulations

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A gaming license with the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and the State of Washington.
  • Technical certificate in an industrial related field

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
