Position Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced Shop Helper for a manufacturing facility in Sapulpa OK. The Shop Helper will assist craftsmen with fabrication and assembly tasks supporting daily operations in a fast-paced safety-sensitive environment. This position offers excellent long-term potential for individuals seeking to grow their mechanical and fabrication skills within an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist craftsmen with assigned projects and general shop duties
Work safely around overhead cranes forklifts and automated equipment (safety-sensitive position)
Meet company productivity and quality standards as defined by work instructions
Follow all safety policies and procedures including 5S requirements
Operate basic fabrication tools and equipment to support production
Maintain a clean organized and efficient workspace
Contribute to a team-oriented environment and provide input for process improvement

Skills & Experience Requirements

Basic fabrication shop experience preferred
Ability to operate overhead cranes and power tools
Proficient in reading and using a tape measure
Able to read and write basic shop communications
Willingness to learn to read shop drawings and interpret bills of materials
Strong attention to detail dependability and eagerness to learn new skills

Physical & Safety Requirements

The Shop Helper position is classified as safety-sensitive due to the operation of heavy machinery and exposure to hazardous equipment. Must be able to stand for extended periods lift up to 50 lbs and work safely around moving equipment.
