F 22 Project Management Specialist

Company:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an F-22 Project Management Specialist to join our team in Berkeley MO.

In this role the selected candidate focus will be on supporting and leading a portfolio of sustainment projects associated with all aspects of lifecycle planning. Responsibilities include a wide range of activities to support fleet readiness from proposal development through execution and delivery. This role will work with many inter-functional teammates to organize and assemble strategies and execution details for projects to align for success.

This position is customer facing and will include frequent interaction with the F-22 leadership team
industry partners and the United States Air Force. This position is ideal for a candidate seeking a career path in Project Management or Program Management.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs project tasks that meet identified requirements by application of or in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g. PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK ANSI and ISO standards)
• Provide reports project status and change information to project team per established processes and communicates plan changes and recovery plans to others
• Uses negotiating skills by engaging with specific organizational and project task owners to improve project performance commitments
• Responsible for the development and update of task specific plans deliverables and schedules

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 years experience in a role that requires project management skills
• Experience in project management such as scheduling resource management and performance measures
• Experience working in a cross functional environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher
• Experience preparing and delivering presentations
• Experience working with a U.S Military customer
