San Bruno CA $110000 - $130000 Direct Full-Time Onsite Club
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client a member-owned private club with over 500 members in the Bay Area is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations. This role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with the Board of Directors and Finance Committee
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and monthly closing
- Prepare financial statements variance reports and Finance Committee materials
- Manage annual audit tax filings and ensure GAAP compliance
- Develop budgets forecasts and cash flow reports
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Supervise accounting staff and collaborate with department heads
- Serve as primary liaison with Finance Committee auditors and external partners
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
- Advanced Excel and accounting system skills
- Prior hospitality private club or nonprofit experience highly desirable
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
