This role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with the Board of Directors and Finance Committee WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and monthly closing
- Prepare financial statements variance reports and Finance Committee materials
- Manage annual audit tax filings and ensure GAAP compliance
- Develop budgets forecasts and cash flow reports
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Supervise accounting staff and collaborate with department heads
- Serve as primary liaison with Finance Committee auditors and external partners
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE - Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
- Advanced Excel and accounting system skills
- Prior hospitality private club or nonprofit experience highly desirable
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
