Job Summary
Job Description: Role: UX Lead
Organization: This role will report to the Associate Director of Human-Centered Design at client.
Required Experience & Skills:
A UX Designer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience leading UX research and design initiatives.
A passion for creating human-centered designs to solve the right problems for both the users and the business teams.
Deep understanding and knowledge of Human-Centered Design UX Research and Design Processes standards and best practices.
Proficiency with the Figma tool.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with user testing and analytics tools such as Userlytics Google Analytics and Fullstory.
Experience working on Design Systems with a deep understanding of the same.
Expertise in Creative Design Ideation creating Lo-Fi Wireframes Hi-Fi Visual Design clickable Prototypes Style guides and Design Systems for Mobile and Web apps (both consumer-facing and enterprise apps).
Experience leading and delivering the UX in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Strong communication skills a team player spirit and well-organized work priorities and deliverables.
A passion for designing meaningful quality User Experiences and solving problems through User-Centric Designs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to design ownership and data-driven design decisions.
Experience working with global teams (UX designers Development/Engineering teams POs/PMs Scrum Masters Business stakeholders).
A strong UX work portfolio and readiness to share Figma files during interview discussions.
Responsibilities:
Lead and own the end-to-end UX deliverables for various global initiatives.
Drive day-to-day UX activities including UX design reviews deliverables planning and Agile rituals such as Sprint and Backlog planning and Scrum meetings.
Capture insights by conducting User Research analyzing data and creating User Personas Journeys and Business Goals/Requirements in collaboration with the client HCD team.
Conduct user testing and feedback sessions to improve user experience.
Create meaningful design ideas using storyboards process/workflows and Journeys based on the user research insights gathered.
Build the required information architecture navigation and interactions in the UX designs.
Lead and design UX Lo-Fi Wireframes (as needed) Hi-Fi UX Visual Designs and Clickable UX Prototypes in Figma for all required Web/Mobile UX Designs.
Create and maintain the required Design System Design Components and Libraries.
Adhere to UX Usability Standards & Guidelines UX Best Practices Accessibility Standards & Guidelines and client Brand Identity Guidelines (BIG).
Create original icons/graphics/illustrations/tables as needed for the designs and support imagery content editing/resizing.
Prepare and present design drafts to stakeholders lead review discussions with Business stakeholders and HCD teams and iterate and refine UX designs.
Actively participate in and lead user testing analyze results and insights and document findings.
Update and iterate designs based on user and business feedback until approval is obtained.
Align on design system processes for managing designs for the client Brand as per standards defined by the client UX team.
Drive UX reviews of developed UI (features/functionalities) from the UX perspective ensure alignment with UX Designs and report any gaps/issues to Development teams.
Handover all UX Designs Style guides and related assets (Images Icons Copy Graphics etc.) to the development team.
Work in an Agile environment with global cross-functional teams.
Actively contribute to and measure UX and Usability Metrics for continuous optimization.
Actively contribute in creating and sharing the strong UX case studies and success stories.
