Job Summary

Position:Sales Tax Manager
Full or Part Time:Full Time
Degree(s):Bachelors in Accounting Business Finance or related field (preferred but not required) or equivalent five plus years work experience in accounts payable accounts receivable orsales tax.
Timeframe:Immediate opening
Pay:To be determined upon experience level

Job Description:
MMR is seeking candidates with a degree in accounting finance or industry related equivalent. The responsibilities would include but not limited to the following:
- Analyze expenditures and purchase (Accounts Payable) for use tax compliance.
- Analyze customer invoices (Accounts Receivable) for sales tax compliance.
- Submit Tax Returns (State and Local Jurisdictions)
- Monitor tax code and rate changes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records (document control).
- Researching tax issues and completing tax audits (State and Local Sales Tax Audits)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Direct sales tax experience is required
- Ability to work independently prioritize organize problem solve and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
- Ability to coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and creativity
- Working knowledge of MS Office software specifically Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required
- Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Regular and reliable attendance at work
