Job Description
Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking a dedicated independent and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Johns Hopkins Imaging Department. The selected candidate will manage complex patient cases managing their pre and post procedural care and ensure adherence to established protocols in the clinical setting.
The Johns Hopkins Imaging Department provides clinical management of adult and pediatric patients undergoing radiological imaging for diagnostic purposes ie. x-rays fluoroscopic exams MRI exams ultrasound exams nuclear medicine and positron emissions tomography (PET) exams. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Patient coordination/chart review medication review kidney function. Day of Scan duties: Patient prep Ensuring proper heart rate lowering medication and nitroglycerin orders in EPIC decisions about med. dosing including repeat/additional dosing education crisis intervention side effect management and sedation.
Shifts: Fulltime 5 8-hour day shifts
Location: JHH and GSS; Hybrid
Qualifications:
MSN as a CRNP from an accredited nursing program Maryland CRNP license and Maryland or Compact RN license is required
BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted
- NPI number DEA and CDS required.
- The ideal candidate is an acute care NP and has at least 3 years of acute care RN work experience Cardiac/Cardiology experience preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 53.15/hour - Maximum 82.38/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
