We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Security Operations Engineer to join our Bangalore-based team. This role is critical to maintaining and enhancing the organizations security posture through active monitoring incident response and continuous improvement of security controls. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern security tools and frameworks and a strong understanding ofenterprise security operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents across endpointsnetworks and cloud environments.
- Operate and maintain security tools including CrowdStrike EmailSecurity Gateways SSPM Cloud Infrastructure Idp and otherSaaS tools.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team toinvestigate and remediate threats.
- Support and maintain patch management for endpoints softwarecloud network and servers.
- Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
- Support internal and external SOC and ISO audits by providingevidence and documentation.
- Develop and maintain security playbooks and standard operating
- Assist in vulnerability management and patching cycles.
- Work closely with IT compliance and engineering teams to ensure alignment with security policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security orrelated field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Security Operations or SOCenvironments.
- Proficiency with CrowdStrike Falcon Okta Identity Managementand Email Security platforms (e.g. Proofpoint Mimecast).
- Experience with ISO 27001 audit processes and documentation.
- Strong understanding of SIEM tools threat intelligence and incidentresponse workflows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CISSP CEH or Security.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS Azure GCP).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python PowerShell) for automation.
