Job Summary
McHale Landscape Design is searching for our next Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and elevate McHales presence as the premier luxury landscape design firm in the DMV region. If you are a hands-on entrepreneurial marketer who thrives at creating strategies executing campaigns and positioning a brand at the top of its industry we have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you!

McHale Landscape Design is a residential landscape architecture and design-build firm dedicated to designing and constructing extraordinary residential gardens pools outdoor living areas and home additions. Since 1981 our firm has created award-winning residential projects throughout D.C. Maryland and Virginia inluding more than 400 nationally recognized landscapes. We are committed to craftsmanship creativity and service making McHale the trusted partner of high-net-worth families in the region.
What a Director of Marketing does:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness engagement and new client acquisition.
- Position McHale as the leading luxury landscape design firm in the DMV by maintaining a consistent and elevated brand presence across all channels.
- Contribute directly to content creation campaign management and message refinement.
- Optimize SEO SEM social media and paid media campaigns using analytics to maximize ROI.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the DMV market to tailor campaigns build partnerships and identify emerging trends.
- Lead by example while managing agencies freelancers and vendor relationships.
- Embody McHales core values of integrity humility adaptability teamwork continuous improvement tenacity and partnership.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- A bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications or related field.
- 8-12 years of progressive marketing experience including leadership roles.
- Experience in luxury markets (high-net-worth clientele premium brands real estate hospitality or design).
- Proven success developing and executing multi-channel strategies that deliver measurable revenue growth.
- Strong skills in digital marketing (SEO SEM social media paid media and analytics).
- Experience managing external agencies freelancers and vendors.
- Knowledge of the DMV market and affluent customer demographics (preferred).
