Join Birmingham City Councils Pensions Services team and help deliver a high-quality customer-focused service that supports thousands of employees pensioners and external clients. As part of a collaborative shared services environment youll play a key role in administering pension schemes for the Council schools and other partnershandling everything from data input and reconciliation to complex queries and financial reporting. Youll be responsible for a wide range of tasks including maintaining accurate records in pensions and payroll systems supporting the provision of pension estimates and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and Council financial procedures. Working closely with scheme administrators HR Operations and other stakeholders youll help uphold the integrity of our data and respond to queries with professionalism and care. Your contributions will help ensure that pension contributions are reconciled and reported on time and that our service continues to meet high standards.
Were looking for someone with experience in pensions administration and a solid understanding of financial procedures within a large organisation. Youll be confident using pensions software solving problems proactively and communicating effectively across a range of media. Your ability to prioritise work under pressure and support your team will be key to your successespecially as we continue to evolve and improve our service delivery.
