What youll do
Perform daily reconciliation of settlements with eligible counterparties and third party executing brokers using and developing scripts to automate processes where possible.
Assist in investigating and resolving breaks and discrepancies in a timely manner by analysing transaction data.
Support the maintenance of static data and transaction records ensuring accuracy and completeness through data validation and tooling.
Help prepare and maintain documentation for trading operations processes and policies.
Assist in day-to-day operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our trading platform while also providing timely operational support to our internal trading teams.
Collaborate with internal tech and operations teams to implement automated solutions and improve operational efficiency.
Support the Head of Trading Operations on projects related to process improvements.
What you need to have
A min 2.1 bachelors degree in Finance Engineering Computer Science or a related field and 1-2 years of relevant experience in a back-office financial services role.
An interest and understanding of financial markets and the trade life cycle.
An eagerness to learn and apply new technologies to solve complex operational problems.
Strong programming skills in Python or SQL for data manipulation and automation.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
A proactive can-do attitude and a strong team-player mindset.
