Job Summary
PCU Registered Nurse (RN)- Travel Position
Location: Morgantown WV
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Nights
Pay: $2535/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Unit RN to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions requiring close monitoring. The RN will assess treat and support patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units ensuring safe and effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs cardiac rhythms and overall status.
Administer medications treatments and therapies as prescribed.
Respond to changes in patient conditions and intervene promptly.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust care plans.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatments and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in WV
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
COVID vaccine TB test
Minimum 1 year ofPCU/Step-downnursing experience
