As a Trading Services Analyst within Investments Operations you will play a pivotal role in the execution and processing of trade orders ensuring the smooth operation of our trading and portfolio management businesses. Your work will have a significant impact within your team contributing to the overall performance of our trading services. You will leverage your developing knowledge of market products and automation technologies to optimize our operating platform. Your ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement will be developed in this role as you work to enhance our processes and systems.
Job responsibilities
- Support trade orders accurately and efficiently ensuring seamless flow to subsequent back-office systems.
- Develop and utilize knowledge of market products to understand each deal and contribute to the optimization of our trading platform.
- Develop and apply automation technologies to support trade processing including settlements profit and loss and confirmations.
- Actively participate in change management initiatives leveraging resources to minimize disruption and facilitate successful transitions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts identifying inefficiencies in processes and proposing solutions based on data analysis.
- Provide end-to-end trade flow support across all product channels globally.
- Monitor ongoing support needs to address changes and gaps.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts while reducing risk across all touch-points in the trade path.
- Ensure the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries.
- Address ad hoc queries from operations technology and the front office.
- Facilitate training for new application users.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in trading services specifically in order execution and trade settlement.
- Demonstrated ability to apply automation technologies in a trading environment with a focus on process optimization.
- Proactive in change management with the ability to leverage resources to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
- Developing skills in data analysis and tech literacy with the ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop internal stakeholder management with a focus on building productive relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Two years of financial industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Excel PowerPoint and Internet technologies.
- Highly disciplined a self-starter and the ability to execute on assignments independently.
- A team player who demonstrates work ethic and consistently demonstrates a high-level of professionalism.
- Attention to detail with superior written verbal and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets trading instruments and the overall trading process with experience in trading services like order execution trade processing and risk monitoring.
- Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
- Strong relationship-building influencing and conflict management skills with excellent written oral communication and interpersonal abilities to resolve issues and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Effective presentation and negotiation skills combined with an innovative mindset focused on continuous process improvement and a willingness to be flexible in a team-oriented environment.
