The role
As a Procurement Officer youll be providing essential procurement expertise to help stakeholders plan develop source and manage procurement arrangements ensuring they align with organisational and business objectives. Youll be responsible for assessing stakeholder needs managing procurement processes and offering advice on compliance and best practices. Additionally youll support the implementation of procurement governance frameworks and maintain procurement records for transparency and accountability.
In this dynamic role you will have the opportunity to explain complex procurement processes to business units encouraging them to adopt best practices. Youll also need to stay updated with procurement policies and legislation while balancing stakeholder needs and maintaining procurement integrity and value-for-money outcomes.
