SUMMARY:
The Scheduling Navigator plays a key role in coordinating and facilitating new patient and menopause-related appointments across both the OBGYN and GYN departments. This position combines clinical knowledge with administrative expertise to ensure efficient scheduling and a smooth patient experience. The role also supports clinical staff and providers by managing appointment logistics ensuring patients are scheduled appropriately based on their needs and maintaining fairness and balance in appointment distribution across all providers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; current CMA certification required. Minimum 12 years of experience in a clinical or scheduling role preferably in womens health or OBGYN. Strong understanding of medical terminology insurance and EMR systems. Excellent communication organizational and multitasking skills.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include the ability to move traverse remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per dexterity and visual acuity to operate computer systems and perform clinical to communicate effectively with patients staff and providers.
