Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for Supply Chain Management Team Lead in the are you ready to take your procurement expertise to the next level in a dynamic project-driven environment to drive excellence across sourcing project execution compliance and team development.
Location: Ireland Remote with some travel to Dublin

How youll make an impact:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead coach and mentor SCM team members to foster a high-performance culture.
- Promote understanding and implementation of SCM processes aligned with global standards.
- Ensure the team is skilled motivated and strategically aligned with project goals.
Tender Sourcing & Project Procurement
- Develop and execute Tender Sourcing Plans (TSP) and Project Procurement Plans (PPP).
- Participate in tender meetings identify sourcing opportunities and manage supplier qualifications.
- Lead negotiations and ensure purchase orders align with contract conditions and project timelines.
Performance & Cost Management
- Achieve cost reduction and avoidance targets.
- Maintain sourcing schedules and provide monthly procurement performance reports.
- Monitor supplier delivery quality and compliance with health safety and ethics standards.
Issue Resolution & Compliance
- Resolve supplier-related issues and manage procurement claims.
- Coordinate with finance on payment processes and ensure adherence to local procedures.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor SCM KPIs and supplier performance.
- Conduct regular procurement reviews and support tactical decision-making.
- Identify and share best practices across the organization.
Your Background:
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in tailored equipment procurement and complex contract processes.
- Proven expertise inSAP.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); comfortable working across cultures and countries.
