Join Our Finance Team
Looking for the next step in your finance career Join our close-knit Finance Team as an Accounts Assistant where youll play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager and wider business.
This role is perfect for someone who is 1 year out of university or a recent graduate looking to build their accounting career. Youll get hands-on experience across a variety of finance functions from bank and store account reconciliations through to month-end reporting GST/FBT returns and accounts payable support. Youll also be the go-to for managing the Finance inbox tackling queries and jumping in on ad hoc projects when needed.
Were after someone who enjoys the detail loves problem-solving and is keen to develop their skills while working alongside an experienced team.
What youll be doing
- Daily and monthly bank customer and store account reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end journals reporting and compliance
- Supporting with GST/FBT/RWT/BAS returns preparation
- Helping with accounts payable tasks including vendor setups and reconciliations
- Managing the Finance inbox and resolving queries in a timely manner
- Contributing to ad hoc projects across the Finance team
What youll bring
- A relevant accounting/finance qualification (or 1 year experience in a similar role)
