Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Central Engineering Sales Support team. The primary role will be to perform research on products pricing and supporting information for proposal generation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide sales and engineering support for proposal development and customer opportunities.
- Collaborate with account managers to prepare accurate and timely proposals.
- Review customer inquiries and determine the best approach to meet project requirements.
- Research products materials and pricing to support quotations.
- Configure equipment and system conversions using specialized tools and software.
- Assist in preparing presentations and supporting documents for customer meetings.
- Track orders and deliveries ensuring proposals and purchase orders are accurate and aligned.
- Support the service team with quick-turnaround quotes when needed.
- Maintain accurate project records and communication through company systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes documentation and customer support.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred. Other applicable degrees such as Industrial Engineering Engineering Technology or related technical fields will also be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook); familiarity with CRM/ERP systems a plus.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in industrial equipment boilers or mechanical systems is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn specialized software such as the Cleaver Brooks configurator.
