The Patient Administration and Transport Manager will provide leadership to all patient administration and hospital orderly services. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective planning evaluation and quality improvement in clerical Pre-admissions Patient Admissions Switchboard Sessional Suite Administration Breast Health Clinic Administration Ward Clerks Estimations Theatre Bookings and Hospital Orderly services.
This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining collaboration with the clinical teams to ensure the delivery of excellent standards of patient focussed care and the highest standards of customer service. The role works closely with the Assistant Directors of Clinical and Procedural Services Revenue and Health Information Servicesto ensure the effective processing of all hospital administration to maximise revenue for the Hospital.

Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. Business Management and or Postgraduate qualifications in Leadership / Management / Business Administration
Experience in managing large teams
Experience providing and leading a high-quality customer focussed service

Working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation
Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop self and others
Contracts administration / management experience
