As the YETI Logistics Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing planning and monitoring the YETI EU logistics operations activities by daily managing and providing direction to our current two 3PLs to deliver YETIs products in a qualitative consistent and cost effective manner. This role will perform duties related to optimizing and implementing logistics processes drive/monitor 3PLs performance chase savings opportunities and build collaboration with all EMEA YETI business channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide weekly a 6-weeks rolling capacity forecast per channel to 3 PLs for warehouse staff capacity planning
Manage and supervise the day- to- day performance and workload of both warehouse operations
Make sure that deliveries to our customers are according to delivery expectations and within SLA
Monitor and drive 3PLs performance towards defined KPIs
Collaborate with Sales and Operations to schedule and prioritize daily customer shipments
Communicate special handling instructions including labeling and delivery requirements (VAS). Implement and monitor new VAS (Value Added Service) capabilities
Together with 3PL review and improve warehouse operational processes and procedures to ensure continuous efficiency improvements and cost savings/reductions
Coordinate with Sales Operations Management Marketing Customer Service and Distribution Partners to plan and execute to holiday peaks and new product launches
Bring reliability to our customers/consumers from a delivery experience point of view
Consistently monitor Inbound and Outbound freight on costs and performance and identify new cost effective alternative solutions
Review monthly Outbound invoices
Support and monitor weekly Engraving production taking into consideration capacity at the different warehouses. Oversee daily Engraving customer order fulfillments by ensuring all scheduled orders are shipped on time
Support Engraving Customer Service and Sales with shipment tracking and order status updates
Be a back up for all Logistics and Planning Engraving activities
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelors Degree equivalence in Supply Chain Transportation/Logistics or related field
At least 6 years experience in supply chain logistics operations and transportation
Analytics Software knowledge (eg. Power BI)
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel PowerPoint Word)
Knowledge of BrightPearl / SAP or similar ERP system preferred
Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems. Decisions based on fact and analysis
Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills in English to interact effectively and efficiently with different stakeholders
Must have the right to work in the Netherlands at the time of application.
