General Summary:

As the Director of Nursing you will oversee the assessment and quality of life care for our Healthcare residents. Your leadership will guide a multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional care while fostering a nurturing environment for both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of direct resident nursing care including the development and oversight of individualized Plans of Care.

• Establish and uphold nursing standards objectives and goals to ensure the highest level of care.

• Lead mentor and develop team members promoting professional growth and a culture of excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• 5 years of experience in a nursing supervisor capacity or exhibited commensurate level of skills and knowledge

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing environment is preferred

• Must possess excellent oral and written skills

• Knowledge of federal state and local regulations pertaining to long-term care

• Knowledge of current labor laws

• Understanding of geriatric care and the aging process

• Supervision of Nurses and CNAs

• Currently certified in Healthcare Provider CPR/AED (Adult Child Infant)
