To manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing vendor management and operational efficiency aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Manage procurement activities for RM and PM including order placement tracking and delivery follow-up.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; manage supplier performance (lead time quality and reliability).
Ensure compliance with procurement contracts and company policies.
Capture and manage purchase orders using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Expedite urgent orders and resolve any delays or supply issues proactively.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning Quality Finance Warehouse and Production teams.
Analyze procurement costs and support in budget forecasting.
Maintain procurement data accuracy including lead times MOQs and pricing.
Provide regular updates and reports on procurement status to key stakeholders.
Ensure timely resolution of invoice discrepancies and coordinate with Finance for vendor payments.
Support import/export processes and ensure compliance with documentation and timelines.
Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement Business Administration or related field. A certification such as CIPS or APICS is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 5 7 years in procurement purchasing or supply chain roles.
Experience in FMCG manufacturing or similar industries is preferred.
Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is required.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement analytics.
Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of international logistics and import/export processes is advantageous.
