Our client ownsoperates and invests in senior-living communities across the United States - They are seeking an professional Senior Bookkeeper to join their growing Team. The successful Candidate will be respobsinle for bridgingtransactional bookkeeping and controller-level monthly and quarterly closes for 2540 entities act as ourYardi power user and mentor 23 junior accountants while we scale.
Key Responsibilities (Not limited to):
Own monthly & quarterly closes (US GAAP accrual); reconcile every balance-sheet account and deliver management P&L BS and cash-flow statements within four days.
Consolidatemulti-entity results; prepare intercompany eliminations and minority-interest schedules.
Serve asYardi Voyager/Breeze super-userdesign custom reports manage imports/exports and oversee user permissions.
Lead process improvements:automateuploads redesign chart of accounts document SOPs in SharePoint/Notion.
Mentor and review work of junior accountants; run monthly training sessions and provide actionable feedback.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
Matric
Bachelors in Accountingor similar; CPA strongly preferred or in progress.
Fluent English (C1/C2) with the ability to present financials to non-finance leaders.
Demonstrated Yardi Voyager/Breeze or large ERP experience; SQL/report-writer skills are a plus.
Experience with OCR/AP automation (AvidXchange ) Power BI or Tableau.
Expert in full-cycle multi-entity accrual accounting and US GAAP.
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (Power Query index-match macros).
Yardi reporting import/exportand dimension structure mastery.
47 years progressive accounting experience in property or other multi-entity environments.
CPA CMA or equivalent coursework preferred.
Intercompany eliminations lease accountingfixed-assetand depreciation schedules revenue recognition.
Led at least three year-end audits with clean opinions.
Prior responsibility for mentoring or supervising accounting staff.
Proven record of shortening close cycles and reducing audit adjustments to zero.
Reliable home office with 50 Mbps internet.
Ability to overlap at least six hours with US Eastern time.
