Requirements / QualificationsTHE VACANCY: There is one full-time 12 month open position in the Technology Support Services Department. The eligibility list established from this recruitment will also be used to fill future full-time vacancies substitute and temporary positions for up to six months. THE POSITION: Under the supervision of the Technology Systems Services (TSS) Director the User Support Technician shall serve as a resource to school sites and District staff in the effective and efficient utilization of computer technology; acts as a liaison between the Districts computer users the TSS department and hardware and software vendors in the resolution of users requests and problems; and shall perform other duties as QUALIFICATIONS: Must have an AA degree with coursework in computer science computer systems or related field or equivalent experience. Must have a valid California Drivers License and driving record sufficient to be able to be insured and continue to be insurable by the Districts liability insurance carrier.
