As the Associate Manager of Reverse Secondary Markets youll play a pivotal role in shaping bulk liquidation strategies for Best Buys platform. This position is focused on driving growth through strategic negotiation sales planning and operational execution. Youll be responsible for tracking performance metrics identifying trends and developing innovative approaches to attract and retain customers while crafting compelling value propositions that differentiate our offerings in the secondary this highly collaborative role youll work cross-functionally to launch new initiatives and bring the broader Reverse Secondary Markets strategy to life.
This role is hybrid which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield Minnesota and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.What youll do - Manage direct report(s) while providing guidance on delivering against the E2E reverse category plan while overseeing the execution
- Manage and influence 3PL software as a service company that runs the TL platform
- Manage buyer relationships and negotiations as needed
- Leverage financial and analytic acumen to create sound strategies
- Partner with technology teams to identify gaps and opportunities with 3PL SaaS providers
- Gain team alignment with cross-functional partners to drive business plans
- Support and lead all deliverables and ensure timelines are agreed upon and met
- Develop a network of critical internal and external partners to effectively meet performance expectations within the role
Basic qualifications- 3 years of experience in retail inventory merchandising or supply chain
- 3 years of project management order management merchant retail or related experience
- 3 years of experience in direct or indirect leadership capacity (cross-functional teams)
- Strong communication skills
Preferred qualifications- 3 years of experience with financial acumen
- Work autonomously and ability to professionally interface with peers leadership and external business partners at all levels
- 3 year of experiencein Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
