Summary

In this role you will oversee the management of our brand new Axis Experience Center in Detroit MI while coordinating field and partner marketing initiatives events and other marketing projects. Strong communication organizational and multitasking abilities are key along with expertise in digital marketing this position youll partner with cross-functional teams and make a direct impact on boosting brand visibility and engagement. This position is office-based at our new Axis Experience Center situated in the One Campus Martius building in the center of Detroits Central Business District. The ideal candidate will be based within close commuting distance of Detroit (15 miles or less).

Who is your future team

The Mid-Atlantic Marketing Team currently consists of 8 members based out of the Washington D.C. and Cincinnati OH offices with expectations of growing in 2026. As part of this team you will collaborate closely with the Manager Field Marketing and the Field Marketing Team on strategy coordination execution of local initiatives field activities events and campaigns.

What youll do here as a Field Marketing Coordinator:

• Act as a Brand Ambassador to ensure consistency in the business area
• On-site coordination and execution of meetings and events within the Axis Experience Center including but not limited to logistical operations vendor management catering inventory sourcing and procurement etc.
• Provide reception desk coverage and manage visitor sign-in and badge issue process with building management
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the facility at all times before and after meetings and ensure proper inventory food/beverage and supplies are in stock
• Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies for the Axis Experience Center and local market
• Increase marketing initiatives and activity with field sales team channel partner ecosystem and local industry associations
• Maintain system records for ROI reporting purposes and own local marketing reporting by using Eventbrite Salesforce and other tools
• Work within given event budgets including committed spend invoice processing and cost accrual
• Develop business acumen by participating in training offered internally and/or externally
• Other duties as assigned

Education and experience:

• Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
• 1 year experience in event coordination or hospitality experience
• 1 year experience in customer service
• Experience with Microsoft Office Canva Salesforce social media and CRM tools preferred
• The ideal candidate lives within 15 miles of Detroit.

Pay range:

• The approximate hourly pay range for this location and position is $27 - $29 Total Target Compensation. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors including but not limited to the individuals qualifications experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
