About the role:
The Assistant Manager - HR & Talent Acquisition is responsible for attracting and hiring high-quality competent professionals in Grants Health & Scholarships. This role involves managing the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing and pre-screening to interview coordination offer extension and new employee onboarding. The incumbent will play a key role in building a strong workforce that aligns with the organizations mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle including sourcing screening interviewing and onboarding.
- Source candidates through various channels such as job portals professional networks referrals and press advertisements.
- Screen and shortlist candidates based on job requirements conducting initial telephonic or personal interviews as needed.
- Effectively communicate the organizations philosophy vision and job descriptions to potential candidates.
- Coordinate all candidate communication and logistics ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive candidate database on a daily basis.
- Develop and maintain a strong network to identify and source both active and passive candidates.
- Generate and present recruitment reports on a timely basis to track key metrics.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelors degree is a must.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively across different functions.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Database Management: Proficiency in database management and record-keeping.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding all human resources matters.
