Job Summary
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Global Banking Technology you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of scalable and resilient systems Core and React to drive continual iterative improvements for product teams.
- Execute software solutions including design development and technical troubleshooting primarily technologies and React.
- Create secure and high-quality production-ready user interfaces.
- Produce or contribute to architecture and design artifacts for applications ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
- Gather analyze synthesize and develop visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
- Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
- Focus on application development creating efficient and user-friendly software.
- Add to team culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respect.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability Framework Core.
- Design and develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using React HTML and CSS ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
- Proficiency in using TypeScript to develop robust applications.
- Implement and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use ensuring consistency and efficiency in UI development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends techniques and technologies and apply them to improve the user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Expertise in JavaScript frameworks particularly .
- Proficiency in testing to ensure software quality reliability and user-friendly software.
- Experience in building reusable components.
- Experience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment Core and database querying languages.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience working closely with product teams to understand business requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with UX teams to refine design concepts.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Understanding of agile practices including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Experience with Ribbon XML for UI is a plus.
