Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dedicated maintenance team. This hands-on role requires strong technical expertise to maintain repair and improve our manufacturing machinery and equipment efficiently ensuring minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned and reactive maintenance across the production site.
Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
Install and commission plant machinery.
Maintain and repair gearboxes motors conveyors and systems involving hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting safe working practices.
Candidate Requirements
Relevant engineering qualifications in mechanical maintenance or similar.
Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical fault finding.
Experience with gearboxes motors hydraulics pneumatics and conveyors is highly desirable.
Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Driving license required.
Experience with mobile plant machinery is advantageous but not essential.
