TeneosglobalFinancialAdvisory(FA) Clients & Industries team is responsible for driving and coordinating a broad range of business development activities for our client-facing Financial Advisory teams across the globe. MembersoftheClients&Industriesteamoperateseamlesslywithfeeearningstaffinafullyintegratedwayandworkday-to-dayalongsideawiderangeofourclient facingprofessionalsacrossdifferentareasofourbusinesstoensureourprogrammesarerunningeffectivelyandwithmaximumimpact.

BeingpartofthisteamoffersearlyexposuretoseniorstaffandthewholegamutofTeneosFApracticegloballywithinafast-pacedclient-orientedandhighlycollaborativeenvironment.

The Role

This newly created role driven by the recent acquisitionofPwCsAustralianRestructuringpracticewill supporttheAustralianteamtoliaisewithandleveragethecapabilitiesofthewiderglobalC&I initiallyassistingwithintegrationofbusinessdevelopmentandoriginationactivityandintimesupportingthelonger-termgrowthofthepractice.

The Business Development Executive will reportdirectlytoaSeniorManagingDirector.

Responsibilities

TheClients&Industriesteamisresponsiblefordrivingandcoordinatingabroadrangeofbusinessdevelopmentactivitiesforourclient-facingFinancialAdvisoryteamsacrosstheglobe and this role will work collaboratively with the global C&I team and directly with the Australian FA team across several key areas:

Prioritiseandstructureourresearchandoriginationinitiativesundertakingarangeofquantitativeandqualitativeanalysestoidentifydevelopandprioritiseleadsandopportunities
Manageourresearchsubscriptionsrelationshipsandbudget

Helptosupervisetheday-to-daymanagementoftheworkflowtoandfromouroffshoreresearchserviceprovider.

Understandoursuiteofresearchtools()howtheyareusedandmanagetheAustralianteamsaccesstothesetools
Helptoproducematerialsforclientdiscussiondocumentsandinsightpieces including liasingwithTeneoscentralmarketinganddesignteamsinNewYorktofacilitatetheproductionanddisseminationofgo-to-market materials.
Provide administrationsupportfortheNewBusinessCommittee including pipeline tracking and reporting

Supportouraccountteamsbyprovidingrelationshipholderswithrelevantinsightandcredentialsfromallpartsofourglobalfirmtosupportspecificpursuitsandproposals
WorkcloselyandcollaborativelywithsectorteamschannelteamsandglobalC&Iteammemberstodevelopmaterialswhichcanarticulateinterestingcompellingviewsoncurrentmarketthemes
LiaisewithourcentralmarketingteamaroundthemaintenanceandongoingdevelopmentofourwebsiteandCRMsystems
Supportseniorclientfacingstaffwiththeplanningandexecutionofclientevents
AssistwithannualbudgetingforFAsAustralianresearchandmarketingfunctionhelpingtoassessandbalanceourinvestmentpriorities
Undertakearangeofotheradhocactivitiesrelatedtoworkwinningandbusinessdevelopment as required by the business

Requirements

Ahighlevelofcommercialacumenandagenuineintellectualcuriosityaboutthebusinessworldandfinancialmarkets
2-5 years experience inbusinessdevelopment including supporting pitches and bids
Entrepreneurial mindsetwith the ability to work in a global matrix environment and to communicate effectively with multiple senior stakeholders
Strongorganisationalskillsincludingeffectivetime-managementskillsto workonseveralprojectssimultaneously
StrongPowerPointskills andintermediate Excelskills
AwillingnesstocoordinateanddrivearangeofBDactivitiesinapro-activetimelymanner
Anabilitytothinkindependently
