BeingpartofthisteamoffersearlyexposuretoseniorstaffandthewholegamutofTeneosFApracticegloballywithinafast-pacedclient-orientedandhighlycollaborativeenvironment.
The Role
AspartoftheacquisitionofPwCsAustralianRestructuringpracticeinJuly2025the role will supporttheAustralianteamtoliaisewithandleveragethecapabilitiesofthewiderglobalC&I initiallyassistingwithintegrationofbusinessdevelopmentandoriginationactivityandintimesupportingthelonger-termgrowthofthepractice.
The newly created role willreportdirectlytoaSeniorManagingDirector.
Responsibilities
TheClients&IndustriesteamisresponsiblefordrivingandcoordinatingabroadrangeofbusinessdevelopmentactivitiesforourclientfacingFinancialAdvisoryteamsacrosstheglobe.
- Identifyingandtriagingopportunitiesonatimelybasissupportedbyhighqualitycreditanalysisandsituationalresearch
- Providinghands-onsupportandcriticalfriendtest-and-challengeduringthepreparationofpitchesandproposals
- PromotingknowledgemanagementandconnectivitywithintheentireTeneonetworktocontinuallyimprovethequalityanddepthofourmarket-facingsectorinsightprogrammes
- Managingtheworkflowbetweenourclient-facingteamsandouroutsourcedresearchpartner
- Managingourresearchsubscriptionsrelationshipsandbudget
- LiaisingwithTeneoscentralmarketinganddesignteamsinNewYorktofacilitatethefinalisationanddisseminationofFApublicationsandannouncements
- Planningtheteamsflagshipmarketingevents
- ProvidingadministrationsupportfortheNewBusinessCommittee
- Undertakingarangeofotheradhocactivitiesrelatedtoworkwinningandbusinessdevelopment
- Prioritiseandstructureourresearchandoriginationinitiativesundertakingarangeofquantitativeandqualitativeanalysestoidentifydevelopandprioritiseleadsandopportunities
- Supportouraccountteamsbyprovidingrelationshipholderswithrelevantinsightandcredentialsfromallpartsofourglobalfirmtosupportspecificpursuitsandproposals
- WorkcloselyandcollaborativelywithsectorteamschannelteamsandotherC&Iteammemberstodevelopmaterialswhichcanarticulateinterestingcompellingviewsoncurrentmarketthemes
- Supporttheday-to-dayrunningandadministrationofourNewBusinessCommitteefortheteamtodecidehowtheywillapproachtake-oninthesameway
- LiaisewithourcentralmarketingteamaroundthemaintenanceandongoingdevelopmentofourwebsiteandCRMsystems
- Supportseniorclientfacingstaffwiththeplanningandexecutionofclientevents
- Helptosupervisetheday-to-daymanagementoftheworkflowtoandfromouroffshoreresearchserviceprovider.
- Understandoursuiteofresearchtools()howtheyareusedandmanagetheAustralianteamsaccesstothesetools
- AssistwithannualbudgetingforFAsAustralianresearchandmarketingfunctionhelpingtoassessandbalanceourinvestmentpriorities
- Helptoproducematerialsforclientdiscussiondocumentsandinsightpieces
Requirements
- Ahighlevelofcommercialacumenandagenuineintellectualcuriosityaboutthebusinessworldandfinancialmarkets
- 2-5 years inbusinessdevelopmentexperience including supporting pitches and bids
- Entrepreneurial mindsetwith the ability to work in a global matrix environment
- Collaborate effectivelywith senior management
- Strongorganisationalskillsincludingeffectivetime-managementskillsandanabilitytoworkonseveralprojectssimultaneously
- StrongPowerpointskills andintermediate Excelskills
- AwillingnesstocoordinateanddrivearangeofBDactivitiesinapro-activetimelymanner
- Anabilitytothinkindependently
- TheabilitytowriteclearsuccinctaccurateEnglish
