As Strategic Procurement Manager in the field of Construction Services you will manage sourcing projects and supplier relationships to deliver cost-efficient and compliant procurement solutions. Youll help drive performance and value in a highly collaborative project-oriented environment. Team members in Romania provide services to support the team based in Switzerland.
What you will do:
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with category goals and procurement strategy
- Support project procurement with timely cost-effective purchasing in alignment with project milestones
- Conduct supplier analysis negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with procurement standards
- Drive supplier performance monitoring and reporting to enhance value delivery
- Collaborate closely with project teams and internal stakeholders to define and fulfill requirements
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimization within your category
What you bring & who you are:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering architecture supply chain or similar
- 2 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement in construction or infrastructure
- Strong communicator with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Skilled in using procurement tools (e.g. SAP Power BI) and digital sourcing platforms
- Detail-oriented structured and proactive in managing multiple procurement activities
- German B1-Level and English in a professional context
