Job Summary

**Schedule/Availability Requirements:**

- Dates: October 15-17

- Facility Location: Grass Valley

- Setting: Hospital with a dedicated Family Birthing Center (Labor & Delivery floor) that includes an operating room for C-sections.

**Duties:**

- Responsibilities include performing deliveries (average of 23-30 deliveries per month) conducting C-sections and providing emergency department call coverage for OB/GYN-related issues.

**Required Procedures:**

- All OB/GYN procedures. Specific procedures to be determined.

**EMR System:**- Cerner

**Support Staff:**

- Anesthesiologists (1 on-call after hours and weekends for operating rooms and Family Birthing Center) General Surgeons 3 local OB/GYNs 1 Family Medicine OB and a Pediatrician on-call along with experienced Respiratory Therapists.

**Qualifications:**

- Board Certified OBGYN or Board Eligible within 5 years

Required- California Medical License

Required- DEA Certification

Required during credentialing

- Malpractice History

Clean preferred

- Availability at time of name clear Required
