Job Summary
Were searching for an Ultrasonographer OB Sr someone who works well in a fast-paced this position youll use technical leadership educational quality and regulatory knowledge to organize the activities for timely and high-quality delivery of patient care during routine and complex exam completion.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Supervises routine and specialized examinations assigns tasks and inspects completed work to ensure compliance with applicable federal state local institutional and departmental standards rules and laws
Monitors supply inventory and ensures that established stock levels are appropriate. Shortages and/or overages of supplies are to be managed with Supply Chain and par levels to be adjusted accordingly
Actively manages workflow in communication with nursing anesthesia and other impacted parties
Strict adherence to Joint Commission ACR or other standards and initiatives and to applicable federal and state guidelines licensures and policies
Follows hospital department and section specific policies procedures guidelines and protocols
Depending on location responsible for training and development of staff and students on all new policies procedures SOPs
Ensures clinical research patients are treated with same procedural respect and standards as clinical procedures
Captures all required information and records correctly 100% of the time
Greets all patients visitors and staff in a professional courteous and respectful manner
Maintains current required licensure and certifications

Skills & Requirements
Graduate of a formal diagnostic radiology program required
Required licenses and certifications
oBLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association and
oRDMS-AB - RDMS in Abdomen by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
oRDMS-BR - RDMS in Breast Specialty by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
oRDMS-FE - RDMS in Fetal Echocardiography by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
oRDMS-OB - Reg Diag Med Sonographer OBGYN by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
oRDMS-PS - RDMS in Pedi Sonography by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
6 years of radiology experience (any/all modalities) required
A bachelors degree in any radiology or healthcare field of study may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience
A masters degree in any radiology or healthcare field of study may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience
