Job Description
Overview:
The shift toward sustainable intelligent transportation demands a reliable digital backbone. Our technology powers electric vehicle charging networks and connects seamlessly with multimodal transport solutions. Were looking for an experienced engineer with strong architectural skills to guide our backend systems and help shape the future of mobility.
What will you do
- Design and evolve the core backend of our Charging Management Platform
- Lead end-to-end technical initiatives from system architecture to rollout
- Set engineering standards review critical decisions and mentor fellow developers
- Work hand-in-hand with product engineering leads and cross-functional teams
- Ensure our services are secure robust and capable of scaling with demand
- We follow Agile principles (Scrum) value thoughtful execution and prioritize clean maintainable solutions over short-term workarounds
What are we looking for
- 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience primarily in backend development
- Degree in Computer Science (or comparable professional expertise)
- Demonstrated leadership in architecture and technical mentoring
- Advanced knowledge of Python and Django with strong API and platform experience
- Clear communicator who can lead discussions challenge assumptions and drive consensos
- Portugal based and fluent in English
- AWS Terraform Ansible Grafana
- Understanding of EV and mobility standards (e.g. OCPI OCPP)
- Exposure to modern frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript HTML CSS)
