Job Title: Team Lead Payroll Services
Location: Infomate Head Office Colombo 01
Shift: 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the payroll team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for multiple clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations and complex payroll queries.
- Review and approve payroll calculations statutory deductions and final reports before submission.
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws tax regulations and statutory requirements (EPF ETF API Tax etc.).
- Coordinate with internal departments (HR Finance IT) and external stakeholders (clients auditors regulators).
- Maintain and update payroll policies procedures and documentation.
- Train mentor and develop team members to enhance performance and service delivery.
- Monitor SLAs and KPIs to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in payroll processing with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan payroll regulations and statutory compliance.
- Experience working in a payroll outsourcing or shared services environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
