Job Summary
The Role
Were seeking a hands-on and driven Shift Manager to lead production operations at our Rocklea site. Reporting to the Production Manager youll be responsible for managing a production crew ensuring safety quality and output targets are consistently achieved. This is a key leadership role that combines people management operational excellence and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the shift team to deliver daily production targets while driving efficiency and minimising downtime.
Champion a strong safety culture ensuring compliance incident management and proactive engagement.
Uphold high-quality standards managing product compliance and supporting customer issue resolution.
Develop coach and mentor team members to build capability and drive performance.
Manage people-related matters including training attendance performance and engagement.
Promote lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and outcomes.
About You
Experience in high-speed or process manufacturing with proven success in achieving production and quality targets.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate coach and manage a diverse team.
Demonstrated commitment to health safety and environmental standards.
Skilled problem solver with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing - highly regarded.
