Description
The Manager / Senior Manager in Regional Actuarial Service will play a pivotal role in providing oversight and guidance on a range of financial reporting metrics across local markets within the region. This includes ensuring the accuracy and integrity of New Business Value (NBV) International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 17) product reviews and participating in governance processes.
Position Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting Oversight: overseeing preparation and review of financial reporting metrics including IFRS17 NBV ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
Business Analysis: Provide detailed analysis and insights on financial metrics identifying key drivers and trends to support business decision-making.
Product Review: Collaborate with local markets to conduct product assumption reviews ensuring alignment with Group and Regional standards.
Par Governance: Monitor and guide participating business governance processes ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Nearly qualified or qualified Actuary from a recognized Actuarial examination body.
8 years or above of Actuarial working experience with experience in financial reporting (IFRS17 New Business Value). Knowledge in pricing a key advantage.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
Ability to manage and drive project completion within timeline.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments and local markets.
