Classification: Full-Time Non-exempt
Compensation: $25-35 per hour depending upon experience

We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. This role requires the setup operation and maintenance of manual machining equipment primarily manual lathes and mills. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail a commitment to safety and quality and the ability to machine precision components to exact specifications.
- Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Manual Machinist
- Proficiency operating manual mills and lathes
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials
- Ability to meet close tolerances and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to communicate in English
- High school diploma / GED
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection gloves steel-toed boots hard hat and flame-retardant work clothes etc.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat dust noise vibration humidity).
- Preferences to Get Job
- Machinist Certification or technical training equivalent
- Bilingual (Spanish / English)
- Computer & MS Office proficient

- Machine Setup & Operation
- Set up and operate manual lathe and milling machines with minimal supervision
- Adjust holding fixtures secure workpieces and select proper speeds and feeds
- Machining & Material Handling
- Perform machining operations such as drilling boring reaming tapping and milling
- Load/unload workpieces and materials into machines or holding devices
- Tool Maintenance & Quality Assurance
- Inspect and maintain tools; report and replace damaged/dull tools as needed
- Perform in-process inspections to verify compliance with specifications
- Tool Inventory ManagementMonitor and maintain tool crib inventories ensuring tools are available and operational
- Safety & Reporting
- Follow all company safety protocols and report unusual conditions or equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Team Support
- Assist other departments or work areas based on production needs
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other processes as directed by the supervisor.
