Job Summary
Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a Machinist II based in Indianapolis IN. The Machinist II is responsible for performing machine setups tool changes and adjusting as necessary.
This position is available on Third Shift (9:30PM 6:00AM) with a base pay range of $23/hr. - $29/hr. plus $.75/hr. shift differential. Mandatory overtime as needed.
$2000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)
What you will do
- Operate machine according to standard operating instructions
- Document and inspect qualityof work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP)
- Use micrometers height gauges calipers and comparator
What we require
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Extensive experience operating setups tool changes etc.
- Understanding of shop math & blueprint reading/comprehension Geometric Dimensional and Tolerance(GD&T)
- Ability to perform advanced quality inspections
- Professional communication skills
