Our client is seeking a Green Finance Specialist to join their team in developing and implementing financial products and services that support environmentally friendly projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental sustainability finance and investment principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop financial products and services that support environmentally friendly projects such as green bonds green loans and sustainable infrastructure investments.
Assess the environmental impact of potential investments and projects and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
Work with internal stakeholders including investment teams risk management and sustainability teams to identify opportunities for green finance and develop strategies to support environmentally friendly projects.
Track and report on the performance of green finance initiatives including metrics such as carbon emissions reduction and sustainable investment volumes.
Stay current with industry trends regulatory developments and best practices in green finance.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance Environmental Science Sustainability or related field.
35 years of experience in finance investment or sustainability.
Skills:
Strong understanding of environmental sustainability and finance principles.
Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
Certifications such as CFA CAIA or Certified Sustainability Practitioner (CSP) are desirable.
