The Department of Management & Organization invites applications for one full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor for the 2026-2027 academic year with an anticipated start date of September 16 2026. Assistant Professors have an annual service period of nine months. University of Washington faculty members engage in research teaching and service.
The successful candidates will perform research in micro subject areas which may include organizational behavior and human resources management. Teaching responsibilities will focus on organizational behavior human resources management leadership ethics teams etc.
The base salary range for this position will be $ per month commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.

Candidates must have or be nearing completion of a PhD or foreign equivalent in Organizational Behavior Business Administration Management Human Resource Management Psychology Sociology or other related field. A qualified candidate may be considered for temporary appointment as an Acting Assistant Professor pending PhD with conversion to an appointment as an Assistant Professor after degree conferral if the terminal degree has not been conferred by the position start date.
