Position Summary
Oregon Tech is Accepting Applications for Undergraduate Adjunct Instructors for the Humanities and Social Sciences Department. Humanities and Social Sciences Department at the Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) is recruiting a pool of persons for possible part-time adjunct teaching positions for our social science courses (anthropology history sociology). Qualified applicants may be invited to serve as instructors for courses within the department. Candidates interested in adjunct teaching positions should apply online and submit a cover letter curriculum vitae and a list of three references with contact your cover letter please specify those areas or courses that you are qualified to offer and would be interested in teaching. This pool will be accessed only when an opening or need arises as early as September 2021. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than two years. After two years if you are still interested you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool. Teaching Modality: Appointments may include courses offered on-line in person on campus hybrid or related clinic or lab or in an alternative format responsive to state and local requirements. Location: primary campus locations include Klamath Falls OR Wilsonville OR and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g. Blackboard) Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching such as Zoom Skype and Microsoft Teams
