Accounts Receivable Specialist

Kinzler Corporation of Ankeny IA Is seeking an experienced detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process ensuring accurate and timely billing collections and reconciliation of customer accounts.

This position earns a competitive wage of $23.50 - $26.50 per hour. Key Responsibilities

Generate and send accurate invoices in a timely manner
Process customer progress billing monthly
Apply customer payments and perform account reconciliations
Communicate with customers and internal personnel regarding billing discrepancies and questions
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
Collaborate with sales and other departments to resolve billing issues
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
2 years of experience in an accounts receivable or general accounting role
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and best practices
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft GP
Experience with the construction industry and associated customer project portals
Familiarity with GAAP and internal controls
