About Canucks Autism Network
Canucks Autism Network (CAN) is a charitable organization dedicated to providing programs for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families while promoting acceptance and inclusion through community engagement and training initiatives across BC. Our vision is for every individual on the autism spectrum to be understood accepted and supported in all community spaces.
We engage a workforce of over 200 volunteers and 400 frontline staff to deliver programs for children youth and adults on the spectrum in communities across British Columbia. Since its inception in 2008 CAN has directly impacted over 8000 members on the autism spectrum.
The Opportunity
CAN is looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our team and help meet our growing recruitment and HR needs. Reporting to the Senior Manager HR and Staffing and working closely with a number of cross-departmental teams the HR Generalist is primarily focused on recruitment of front-line program and event staff as well as supporting the recruitment of full-time office addition to recruitment the HR Generalist assists with other HR-related areas such as onboarding policies and procedures employee relations & performance management and health and safety.
