Job Description
Duration of engagement: 24 months (Part-time position 20 hrs/wk.)
Location: Latham NY (50% Onsite)
Day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:
- Plan and perform requirement gathering.
- Develop test data scenarios and analyze the results to gain insight.
- Validate requirements throughout the business analysis process to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Review and write system documents.
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources reconcile conflicts break down into details and summarize into general information.
- Assist stakeholders in creating business practices that enhance the user experience.
Systems Analyst: NYMatters Charities FileNet and SilverCar applications projects
Specializes in analyzing designing and implementing information systems. Assesses the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaises with end users software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes. Uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology. Serves as change agent who identifies the organizational improvements needed designs systems to implement those changes and trains and motivates others to use the systems.
Expert 84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
- 84 months of experience working as a Systems Analyst and creating Use Cases running JAD Sessions creating functional design documents documenting as-is to be processes
- 84 months of experience in developing test scenarios scripts data and reviewing test results for multiple applications including registration systems
- 84 months of experience in relational database and writing SQL Queries
- 72 months of experience in analyzing and interpreting data using Power BI Excel SQl Python
- 72 months of experience in public sector law firm
- 72 months of experience in communicating with stakeholders
- Masters in data science/computer science/Business Administration
