About the Role
We are expanding our Employee Relations team to support our global this role you will play a key part in shaping and guiding our ER function building frameworks policies and practices that foster a culture of trust accountability and high performance. You will partner closely with leaders People Business Partners Legal and other stakeholders to ensure we handle employee relations matters fairly consistently and in alignment with our values. This is an opportunity to influence how we manage performance resolve workplace issues and build an inclusive and respectful environment where all Mironeers can thrive.
What youll do
- Coach guide and advise all levels of management through employee relations and performance management related matters
- Builds and maintains strong trust based relationships at all levels of the business and collaborates with PBPs Legal COEs and Work Councils
- Guide managers in the interpretation and application of employment laws and regulations and HR related practices and policies
- Be the first point of contact for ER-related cases queries and issues such as disciplinary grievance absence performance etc. providing appropriate and timely guidance and advice
- Conducts investigations in response to a range of employee relations concerns including harassment discrimination retaliation and other violations
- Ensures cases are handled fairly consistently transparently and in a timely manner in line with our culture policies and local law
- Makes recommendations on appropriate courses of actions matching investigations strategy to complexity risk sensitivity and confidentiality
- Maintains an organised case management system including the ability to run analytics metrics and produce data visualisations
- Proactively find opportunities to enhance the employee experience and help create and implement innovative solutions
What youll need
- 5 years experience in ER HR or related Legal experience
- Deep knowledge and understanding of NL employment law its interpretation and application of employment DE US experience is a plus
- Experience using effective listening and investigatory skills to handle complex sensitive conversations with discretion composure and compassion
- Experience improving and designing HR related processes and policies
- Strong critical thinking resourcefulness and agility
- Ability to coach advise or mentor managers/employees to resolve employee concerns
- Ability to work proactively to lead and complete projects with competing deadlines and produce accurate work
- Proficient in English and Dutch
