Job Summary
Lead Teacher(s) for Brockton High School Peer Tutoring & Mentor ProgramJob Description:The lead teachers for the BHS Peer Tutoring & Mentor program will work collaboratively with school leaders and staff to develop student leaders. The tutoring and mentor program will take place every day after school where we have late :Massachusetts Teaching licenseExperience working with high school studentsExperience working with students on IEPs or with 504s and multilingual learnersResponsibilities:Recruit and retain students to volunteer as tutors and mentorsPromote the program so students use it as a supportMaintain attendance records and tutoring and mentoring logsCollaborate with teachers to offer support around assessment windowsCollect data and share with stakeholders in routine program assessmentsDevelop a schedule of monitor teachers and collaborate to ensure the tutoring center remains open dailyReports to: Academic Associate Principals and BHS PrincipalProgram Hours: 2:30pm 4:00pm Monday Tuesday Wednesday and non-meeting ThursdaysRate: Contractual RatePosition Type: After SchoolPositions Available: TwoFunding Source: Grant
