This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your TS/SCI clearance.

Serco supports the the The US militayy and partner nations on DMO Enterprise contracts with a information security work force (analysyt ISSO ISSE ISSM) of over 65 cyber professionals at multiple locations worldwide.

You will direct over 65 cyber professionals across multiple contracts at multiple locations worldwide that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality DMO services. Our DMO cyber teams have been recognized by the USAF and industry for their outstanding contributions to the program.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Directing organizing defense industry best practices and security protection against cyber intrusion and vulnerabilities in customer network operations and approaches.
  • Researching producing and briefing those best practices to the execution and operational elements of the business unit and programs.
  • Representing and speaking on SERCOs behalf during trade conferences customer engagements and industry meetings as it pertains to pooling resources and collective knowledge concerning cyber threats and forensic recovery.
  • As directed work with SERCO Advanced Technology Group (ATG) discover and share approaches and best practices to guard against active cyber threats and attacks.
  • Demonstrating experience in managing cross-functional teams in cybersecurity operations particularly within a Department of Defense (DoD) or federal environment. You should have a proven track record of leading ISSOs ISSEs Cyber System Administrators and Industrial Security professionals.
  • Showcasing technical expertise by having an in-depth understanding of NIST RMF FISMA DoD security frameworks and hands-on experience in implementing and interpreting NISPOM and DCID 6-3 requirements. Proficiency with compliance tools vulnerability scanners SIEM solutions and endpoint protection platforms is essential.
  • Utilizing strong analytical skills in risk identification mitigation strategies and accreditation readiness for effective risk management. You should have experience in preparing risk assessments and supporting continuous monitoring initiatives.
  • Conducting successful audits vulnerability assessments and compliance reviews. You should be able to interpret results and lead remediation efforts to closure.
  • Demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. You should also have a proven track record in mentoring developing and inspiring cybersecurity teams.
  • Recommending and implementing process enhancements to support evolving cybersecurity objectives. You should have a keen eye for operational efficiencies and innovation.
  • Being skilled at preparing and maintaining Security Plans POA&Ms ST&E documentation and audit reports with high attention to detail.
  • Committing to staying current with emerging threats technologies and best practices in government and industry cybersecurity.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years of cybersecurity and/or Information Assurance (IA) experience.
  • A Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity and/or IA experience.
  • A Masters degree with a minimum of 3 years of cybersecurity and/or IA experience.
  • An Active Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI security clearance.
  • The ability to obtain a DoD 8140 IAM Level III (or higher) security certification.
  • A strong foundation in security audits system assessments and policy compliance.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity documentation and accreditation processes.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • The ability to travel up to 50%.
