General Description:
Watertown Public Schools is accepting applicants for the position of Armenian Tutor at person in this position will help support the classroom Armenian teacher and will work with multiple levels of Armenian students within the same classroom setting.
Working under the supervision of the World Languages Coordinator school administration and the WHS World Languages Team the tutor will provide direct Armenian language support to students through tutoring small-group instruction and individualized assistance. The successful candidate will collaborate with department colleagues to promote student learning and growth.
This is a one-year position for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree required.
- Significant coursework in World Languages is strongly preferred to ensure effectiveness in meeting student needs.
- Experience working with and/or teaching high school students.
- Understanding of the developmental and academic needs of adolescents.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Commitment to inclusive pedagogy and fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Fluency in Armenian required.
- A Massachusetts DESE license as a World Languages Educator is preferred but not required.
