Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to facilitate the smooth movement of work orders throughout the organization. This position will work closely with the Planner Supervisor and Production Associates to ensure customer request dates are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Along with those identified below other duties may be assigned.

• Transacting work orders through our ERP (Oracle) software.
• Creating tracking and updating production run charts to ensure run rates are being met.
• Take direction from the Planners Supervisors and Management
• Work across department Quality Engineering etc to eliminate roadblocks.
• Support line Associate allowing them to focus on building parts.
• Identify opportunities to improve MFG/ERP system with changes related to BOM Router Process Steps.
• Lead lean activities to drive improvements in our core KPIs.
• Clerical work: filing record keeping organizing.

Qualifications and Experience Levels

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytic skills a high degree of Microsoft Excel knowledge is required.
• Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Kanban experience Oracle software is preferred.
• Understanding of concepts in a Lean Manufacturing Environment and Kanban Supply Chains.
• Change Agent demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.
• U.S. Person (for ITAR compliance purposes)

Physical Demand and Work Environment

Compensation

$23.00-$26.00/hour

Compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role responsibilities candidate experience education qualifications and business considerations.
